Tuition & Workshops

Art tuition should be about developing confidence, skills and your own way of working.

Quiet Line Arts offers practical, supportive tuition alongside workshops and creative sessions for groups and organisations. Sessions are shaped around the individual or group, whether you are returning to art, developing existing work or simply want the opportunity to make something.

Individual Tuition

One-to-one and small group tuition is available for anyone wanting to develop their drawing or painting, whether you are starting from scratch, returning to art after a break or already have experience and want to push your work further.

Sessions are tailored to you rather than following a fixed course. We can work on observational drawing, painting, materials and techniques, developing ideas or simply getting you making work again.

Tuition can be arranged as a one-off session or on a more regular basis.

Workshops & Short Courses

Quiet Line Arts offers one-off workshops and short courses for arts venues, community spaces and small groups.

Sessions are practical and accessible, with enough structure to develop skills while still allowing people to work in their own way. Workshops can be designed around drawing, painting, observation, experimenting with materials or developing a piece of work over several sessions.

Courses can be developed to suit the venue, group and level of experience.
